		<description>Thanks - this is almost enough to inspire me to allow myself time to read something without equations.

While King and Clancy are both good authors, a question looms ever present: Just how much of any one of their later works was written by their staff writers (or whatever they are calling them these days)?</description>

		<description>With King, I believe he actually does pen everything.  Clancy, conversely, may be in suspended animation somewhere, a la John Wayne or Walt Disney.  I haven't seen a book by Clancy with just HIS name on it since a non-fiction he did on a tank battalion about 8 years ago.  Too bad; I enjoyed the Jack Ryan novels.  (BTW, the NetForce books blow goats)</description>
